In our 2500 m2 laboratory, we carry out impact tests. We can fire any type of projectile onto any kind of target, so long as it fits into a 350 mm barrel. With test velocities ranging from a few meters per second to over 9 km/s, we are able to respond to all of the requirements of the aeronautics, defence, aerospace and civil engineering sectors, as well as those of manufacturers and major scientific research programs. Our test equipment — which is the fruit of 30 years of experience in the development of equipment for the study of fast dynamics—allows you to swiftly carry out the test campaigns specifically developed by our teams to meet your needs.

Understanding and improving the properties of your structures

These may include high-speed cameras, X-ray equipment, interferometry equipment, strain gauges and velocity-measurement systems. You will know and understand everything about your structures.
The global expertise
The close proximity of our numerical simulation centre and the ongoing collaboration between the centre and our test laboratory are a major asset, allowing us to provide you with the most reliable and accurate results possible. This collaboration enables us to retrieve the large quantities of data obtained from our physical tests and implement these in our solvers. We can then fine-tune our computer codes and thus simulate impact and shock phenomena as realistically as possible.
