R&D and certification tests

Safety and material characterization

Aerospace industry OEMs and suppliers require numerous impact tests in order to qualify and certify their products and structures. All kinds of standard impacts are commonly performed in our laboratory, as for example hailstones, ice blocks, jelly birds, or even portions of blades and tires.

Actually we can launch everything that can fit with our 350 mm caliber launcher. Light projectiles can be launched up to 1 100 m/s, and a 4 kg projectile can be driven at 200 m/s.

Our philosophy: perform tests and carry out numerical simulations at the same time.

Test results can be anticipated by numerical simulation, and numerical simulation is improved by test results and material characterization.

Airbus, Eurocopter, Dassault Aviation, Safran and many others trust our quality engagement and our know-how.
